Eternal Cycles
Poem: Eternal Cycles

Like a loving mother soothing the cries of her infant, under a full moon that meets the edge of a sea in a peaceful evening of Fall, Nature tries to console her, while the attentive waves of a near shore listen and cheer…listen and cheer.
Her life now pleads for survival as the cold wind awaits the impersonal decree of winter on the horizon, demanding her sleep into the unknown. The nostalgic recollection of her lost love confirms the inevitable:
“As the autumn breeze severs the leaves…maturity detaches the seeds.”
And just when all seemed lost in the dark forgetfulness of the soil, her beloved reappears in the sky with the shining reassurance of a warmer spring, transmuting random chance into success, unveiling the source of eternal cycles:
‘’The silence Gibran called home…
the place of the Savior’s Kingdom:
From this nothingness we all come and go…
the source of our being and wisdom.’’
