Not the touch that build intimate love

The peak of the intimate love is physical contact, they believe. Yet after all this time, I don’t think the same way.

I woke up with the usual morning I got, with cup of hot black coffee to calm my busy thought. The cold and frosty wind blows through my window and brings the smells of the time when I met you, a man who looks so stunning and fine.

The man who showed me how love looks like. A rainbow when the hurricane rage on. A warmth spring after the frost and harsh winter. A sun after the whole dark cloudy day.

Yet..

He delineated love with the view of his own remarkable eyes, uniquely. Not the touch that built intimate love, prayers do. Love was built on something more profound than physical touch, faith and prayers.

We could spend hours talking about hopes, dreams, and fears, and we often pray together for every part of them. I believed that intimacy was not just physical but also spiritual, and that love would only grow stronger with each passing day.

If only I could say, with all the prayers, I felt the peace I crave in this chaotic world. I could reach the peak of intimacy without even a nudge. I was wondering about chasing each other without even run, shouting for each other’s name without even getting heard, and reaching each other without even a touch.
