JESUS CHRIST IS YOUR SAVIOUR, LORD AND GOD

Through this article, dear reader. You reflect on the greatest love ever known. The sacrificial love of Jesus Christ, your Lord, your God. His journey of sacred and divine love. That paid once for all your price for sins. The penalty for sin has to be the shedding of blood. The shedding of blood of a spotless lamb. Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God. “The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29, ESV)

On His wicked and soul-saving cross. Jesus paid the price for your sins. Jesus the spotless Lamb of God, shed His blood. To pay the price for your sins. Jesus in His sacrificial love paid the price for your sins. No greater love has there ever been!!!

Reflection. Jesus’ sacrificial love. No greater love ever known.

Pause for a moment. Consider the cost, the love, the sacrifice. Jesus chose the cross. Yes, Jesus chose the cross. After all Jesus was fully God. He could have called for legions of angels. An army of angels to rescue Him. But, no, Jesus chose the cross. WHY? Because Jesus loves you with perfect and eternal love. He does not want you to flounder in eternal darkness. Jesus does not want you to be eternally separated from the Father. Through His sacrifice. Jesus offers you salvation. This is why Jesus chose the cross. Because He loves you. No greater love has anyone ever shown to you.

Yes, God the Son chose out of His pure and perfect love for you. Yes, the co-creator of all that was created. Chose to hang on His tortuous cross for you. For you to be redeemed.

God’s Holy Word shows you that God’s love for you is deep.

Read the Holy Word of God. Read for yourself how Almighty God designed a plan for you. A wonderful and loving plan. To bring you back into the loving embrace of His Heavenly family. “This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God — who does not lie — promised them before the world began.” (Titus 1:2, ESV)

Through the ancient times of the Old Testament, God’s chosen nation, Israel needed to sacrifice a young unblemished lamb. “Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats,” (Exodus 12:5, ESV) This sacrifice was an atonement for their sins.** **“He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.” (Leviticus 1:4, ESV)

Jesus Christ, your Lord, your God. He chose the cross for you. Jesus in His sacrificial love. Read the Holy Gospels of Jesus. “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” (Matthew 4:1, ESV) Read how every footstep Jesus took. Led Him to the cross. Read how every message Jesus spoke. Told of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Read of how every miracle speaks of His love.

Yes, it is Jesus. And, it is He alone that is the** **“fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” (Ephesians 5:2, ESV) For your salvation. It is Jesus, and He alone. That is the Sacrificial and unblemished Lamb of God. He chose to hang and die on His cross that day. No greater love has ever been known.

Jesus Christ chose to hang and die on His cross as your replacement. Remember! Always remember! Jesus Christ is God the Son. With all the might and power that this entails. He being fully God. Could have called for a legion of angels to rescue Him. It was His love. Not the nails that kept Jesus on His cross. His love for you.

Never, not for one moment. Doubt the greatest love ever known.

Jesus chose to suffer, bleed and die on His cross that day. As a sign of His sacrificial love for you. Read a little further. Three days later. “He is not here, but has risen. Remember how He told you, while He was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” (Luke 24:6–7, ESV)

What a wondrous sign of Jesus’ love this is. That Jesus Christ rose victorious from the grave after three days. Even death has no power over Jesus. This is the power of Jesus’ love. It conquered death once for all. Jesus, the Son of God stepped alive forever from His grave that day. Jesus, He is alive forever more. Jesus did not only choose to die for you. Jesus rose and lives forever more for you. This is the greatest love that Jesus has for you.

Be a child of God. The Father loves.

The First Great Commandment of Jesus is. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30, ESV) When you obey Jesus’ holy commandment. Life is complete and righteous. Life is filled with love and a gentle joy. The life of obedience of a child of God. A child who has submitted your whole life to Almighty God.

You listen throughout your day to the still/small voice of God the Holy Spirit. Pause the busyness of your mind. Push the distractions of your day aside. You have God the Holy Spirit dwelling within you to give you strength when needed. Learn to listen to the Spirit’s still/small voice when at life’s crossroads. Your heart speaks to you when something is not quite right.** **“For all who are led by God’s Spirit are God’s children.” (Romans 8:14, ESV)

By your diligent and daily study of God’s Holy Word. By the meditation of God’s Scripture. By the memorization of God’s teachings and of His love. You learn more and more about what God feels is Holy and Righteous in your life. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16–17, ESV)

Listen to Jesus through His teachings spread throughout the New Testament. Learn from His loving and perfect example. Shining from the pages of God’s Holy Word. Listen to the teachings of God Almighty taught through the Prophets and others in the Old Testament.

  • You are not alone in your striving to do better.
  • You are not alone when you try your best to be a child of God who He is proud of.
  • You are not alone when you stumble and fall.

Jesus reaches down with a Hand of love. He hears your prayer of repentance.

  • Jesus blesses, forgives and loves you.
  • God the Father and the angels in Heaven sing a song of praise and joy.
  • You are welcome into His Heavenly Family.
  • You are God’s adopted child.
  • Give thanks to Jesus your Lord for His steadfast love.
  • Give thanks to Jesus for His sacrifice as your replacement.

Conclusion. Jesus Christ, the Resurrection and the Life. No greater love has ever been. Jesus paid the price of your sins.
