Recently I finished a book on interior design and organization. What struck me is that through the design of homes, jewelry, accessories the narrative meandered through stages of life and wise philosophies.
I certainly enjoyed the book but do want to share the life lessons as well!
#1 Mantra in Adversity
I loved this point about choosing principles even when it’s easier not to!

#2 Right Investments
Take heed to this advice. Enough said!

#3 Quit Zero Sum Game Mentality
I am totally for this point and my pet peeve is why choose a singular facet. It does help that as a woman and mother, I am forever working with balance and tradeoffs.
It is hard.
It is not impossible.
And yes, there is always a nice way to speak the truth.
(Remember , it’s called tough love not tough taking down or tough beating! )

#4 Forge new Paths
Change is the only constant. So our goals, dreams, idea of success, and priorities, they all evolve. Our paths should reflect that.

#5 Trust in Yourself!
From Bhagvad Gita to Po in Kung Fu Panda, believe in yourself! Take to heart please.

Last Word
Let me know which line you found most thought provoking.
And if you have read the book, you hat was your experience and review. I certainly enjoyed it!
