I Am So Tired of Donald Trump

We are living in the hell we voted for

The famous quote “I am sick and tired of being sick and tired,” was spoken by Mississippi sharecropper Fannie Lou Hamer. Fannie Lou Hamer was so sick and tired that she became a famous civil rights activist.

She made this exclamation to express her frustration and exhaustion with racial injustice, voter suppression, and the brutal, unjust violence against Black Americans in the South during the 1960s.

Like Fannie Lou Hamer, I am tired of getting up every single day for the last ten years and hearing Trump, Trump, Trump. The man is constantly doing things that mess up America’s vibe.

His goal is to subtract Black Americans from his imaginary, pure white society. His team is working hard to make institutionalized racism stronger.

When I blow out the multitude of candles on my next birthday cake, my wish will be for a day of peace without hearing about what he is doing to fuck us up. I want a day without Trump.

The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? Really?

I try to live my best life. However, just the sound of our President’s voice screeching in my ear is enough to affect my day. If he is talking, we know he is lying about something.

And he lies about things anyone can easily prove wrong. Yesterday he told the country a huge lie: “Prices are going down. Look at the price of eggs.” Really, Trump, really?

Do you not recognize that American citizens are buying groceries and putting gas in our cars? Does Trump want us to ignore our bank accounts and the true cost of things because he says that prices are going down?

PRICES ARE NOT GOING DOWN. This is not even the case of a broken clock that is right twice a day, because by the time the clock has looped 12 hours, the prices have gone higher.

I used to have a mental illness where I thought that carefully laying out the facts would make a difference. I actually believed reality, backed up by facts anyone could check for themselves, would make a difference; verifiable facts should be enough to change people’s minds.

Hahahaha. What I know now is that you cannot engage with those who believe whatever they want, no matter the truth. It’s a waste of time to talk to those people.

I guess I am supposed to ignore the fact that my family’s budget went red last week. The combination of price increases on food, gas, and electricity was more than expected. The cost of shipping goods anywhere is rising fast because the transportation requires fuel, no matter the method. Those costs affect everything that we buy.

Weary of so many things

I am fatigued of this president. My feelings are deep in my gut. I have Trump Derangement Syndrome because I cannot imagine him or his administration doing anything to help the American people. Our treasure is being spent on war.

Lying. If Trump is talking, he is lying. I don’t know whether he is lying because he knows he is, or whether, in his old age, he doesn’t understand the truth. No matter, I believe nothing he says. It is all lies.

Tweets. His tweets are nerve-wracking. I don’t want to know what lying rant he posted on Truth Social from 1 am to 5 am. This man posted a picture of himself as Jesus. Jesus! People keep trying to read his tweets to me. Stop. I know how to read.

Assassination attempts. We are on the third one. Any time his polling numbers go down suddenly, there are incompetent people (assassins and Secret Service) surrounding him to give him a strongman photo op. He will keep running that playbook as his followers eat it up. We know the truth.

Epstein files. His claim that the release of the Epstein files exonerated him is so bogus that only his most ardent supporters are listening to that nonsense. The man is in the files thousands of times.

DOGE and Tariff Check Rope-A-Dope. What happened to the $2,000 DOGE checks or the $5,000 Tariff checks? They never existed. He lied and lied about how much DOGE saved — the actual answer was nothing. He lied and lied about sending us our own money back for the tariffs. They are giving our money back to the people who passed the cost on to us. It is ridiculous.

War. One of the most indefensible lies Trump told was that he would be the “President of Peace.” Since Trump has been in office, we have bombed many countries, stolen a whole presidency, and started a war most Americans do not care about, mainly because there is nothing in it for American citizens except financial pain and human suffering.

Ballroom. The President said the ballroom would be paid for by private donations and by funds collected from 37 companies. Where is that money? Now you want 400 million of our money? What, so it can disappear with the donated money?

As of April 2026, the designed capacity of the ballroom is 1,350 guests. Why does the United States need a facility that large? It will be unoccupied for at least 360 days of the year.

Tariffs. Why does a box of cookies cost $12.99, a pound of ground beef 13.99, and a pop $4.00? My electric bill was $700 last month, and it is not hot in FL yet. Mr. President, we pay the tariffs, we do.

The Grift. President Donald Trump has increased his net worth by $3.5 billion since taking office. The numbers show that in 2024, Trump was worth $3.9 billion. As of September 2025, he was worth 7.3 billion. My personal income has gone up 1.1%, which is less than inflation. I would say that, since he has continued to grift, his net worth is even higher now.

And these are only the major events that have me wound up. I could write another ten off the top of my head.

Turning the United States into one of those shit-hole countries Trump talks about

I am exhausted by Trump. My feelings are deep. I have Trump derangement syndrome because I cannot imagine 47 or his incompetent, corrupt administration doing anything to help the American people. I believe everything Trump says is a lie and believe nothing until I review credible sources.

By the way, Trump sycophants in the national media are not reliable sources. The United States media can not be believed. Just this morning, Bryon Fonaldson, the candidate for governor of Florida, got on TV and told the entire state prices were going down — that Trump’s policies were making everything less expensive, so vote for him. No.

Mexico granted its citizens universal health care starting on January 01, 2027. They started registering people in April 2026. Canada maintains its infrastructure, provides universal healthcare, and helps its citizens access higher education. I want that for us.

All I want is for the midterms to come, for Republicans to lose, and to have a small bit of peace in my life. I want to feel like someone is actually trying to stop this chaotic man from turning the United States into a shit-hole country because that is exactly what Trump is doing.

We must turn out the vote because you know they are going to cheat. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired, but Fanny Lou Hamer said it better than I did in the video below.
