Medium-Range Drones Surpass The 150 Kilometer Mark, While Pro-Kremlin Users Come Up With Creative Accusations.

The Russian regime’s launched war continues to deteriorate to new levels. Around two months ago, I pointed out that the range of Ukrainian drones striking Russian convoys was only around 60 kilometers, according to reports from Ukrainian outlets.

A month ago, the range of these strikes reached 100 kilometers. Now, a new milestone has been set: a medium-range drone struck Russian military equipment 150 kilometers from the frontline. Actually, slightly a little further.

Footage surfaced of Russian armored vehicles and various military Ural trucks, together with dual-purpose fuel-transporting trucks, being destroyed on the highways from all main roads leading out of both Donetsk and Mariupol.

Overall, it looks like we are approaching a time when the Russian troops will begin using civilian vehicles for transporting supplies. Nonetheless, here are two images showing destroyed Russian military vehicles on those highways:

Russian bloggers, one of whom is Romanov, out of desperation are accusing Ukraine of committing war crimes, which is absolutely absurd. Why? We have countless pieces of footage showing Ukrainian drones destroying Russian armored vehicles and other military-use vehicles on these highways.

Though, this is the war correspondent who spent years arguing that Ukrainian drone fragments were somehow responsible for the destruction of major refining units. Suggesting that Russian air defense systems kept shooting all of Ukrainian drones down, which was a lie.

Now he claims that Ukraine also struck an ambulance on those highways. The question is, where is the footage supporting that claim? Pro-Kremlin bots are once again spreading false narratives in an attempt to undermine US support for Ukraine, which has always been one of their main objectives.

Besides, who is to say Russian forces were not using ambulances for safe passage along those highways? The reality is that the Russian army is being pushed into a corner, and unless they switch entirely to civilian vehicles, the situation will likely continue to worsen. We have hundreds of cases of Russian military vehicles being destroyed on those highways, but not a single one being an ambulance.

In terms of realistic solutions here to these drone-strikes, I believe it is pointless to expect them to reinforce the Donetsk region with additional air defense systems because they are proving to be completely ineffective.

Actually, I remember reading a report about a year ago in which a Russian correspondent claimed that 80% of Russian troops were eliminated before even reaching the frontline. I cannot verify whether that figure was accurate; nonetheless, the situation for the Russian armed forces is at least twice as bad now as it was a year ago.

Romanov tweeted the following to his drone-fragment believing audience:

The enemy began strikes with US-supplied Hornet kamikaze UAVs against the logistics route between Donetsk and Luhansk. In addition to military transport, the strikes targeted fuel trucks, an ambulance, and civilian vehicles. There were civilian casualties.

It is clear that the enemy aims to blockade Donetsk’s logistics. The very possibility of such strikes is a clear result of the loss of initiative in the “small sky,” which occurred with the participation of Krivoruchko, who has been at the helm since Shoigu’s time — UPMI.

Interestingly, he mentioned Shoigu, the man many hold responsible for Ukraine’s successful liberation of Kharkiv, largely because he underestimated Ukrainian capabilities long before large-scale military aid packages began arriving in Ukraine.

TASS recently posted information on its rather absurd Telegram channel suggesting that Shoigu had renewed threats aimed at discouraging EU politicians and officials from remaining in Kyiv.

Overall, I do wonder what the consequences would be if a Russian missile or drone seriously wounded an EU official. I do not think Russia actually wants that outcome, so psychologically it could influence the intensity of their bombardment of Kyiv.

Since they have no realistic way of seizing Kyiv, they are once again relying on the same mass-destruction tactics they use across the frontlines, turning settlement after settlement into ghost towns.

In the midst of all these issues, Putin visited Kazakhstan, where he planted an oak tree together with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the president of Kazakhstan.

We still haven’t heard him tackling the issues involving those highways; it seems like Putin is trying to avoid further ridicule. It’s funny how Putin flies to Kazakhstan to plant trees resembling peace between both sides, while Dugin goes ahead and threatens to invade countries south of Russia.

Whatever the case may be, footage has surfaced showing Russians driving at speeds of up to 170 km/h on those highways in hopes of avoiding Ukrainian drone strikes.

Meanwhile, in Melitopol, near the Sea of Azov, fuel shortages have started affecting local gas stations. Massive lines have formed as people wait to refuel. Yet, not a word from the Russian officials. All we got was oak tree shenanigans.

Institute For The Study of War (ISW), touched on this, leaving the following comment, speaking of disruption of logistics:

Ukrainian forces launched a concerted campaign interdicting key Russian ground lines of communication and railway logistics in occupied Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts in Spring 2026, which are degrading Russian combat capabilities and facilitating Ukrainian advances in the area

Moving forward, more answers are surfacing surrounding the Russian military tactics. Danil Aksenov, a Russian male who scheduled a hearing demanding that the Russian authorities revoke his military service, ended up on the meat assaults. According to initial information from Russian sources, Dani was persuaded by a specific individual to sign documents, thanks to which he later found himself on the frontline.

That specific persuasion method is what should catch your attention. According to Danil’s mother, he was kept in a room throughout the entire night, forcefully kept awake. This was due to him initially rejecting to sign the documents. He was put in that psychological room due to completely forged “espionage” charges.

According to Danil’s mother, he had flat feet, which should have revoked his military status, but likely members of the FSB got to him, which can only be them. As whoever was in charge of these torture chambers clearly served the local government orders.

It almost feels as if laws meant to protect Russian citizens do not exist in reality, considering that those serving the Kremlin seem to do everything except adhere to them. It also makes you wonder why Putin has never publicly addressed any of these reports, of which there are now hundreds, if not thousands.

Furthermore, he was supposedly meant to be assigned to a drone unit but instead ended up being sent into one-way assault operations. That ties into recent reports claiming the Russian Ministry was granted broad authority to combat all “misinformation,” which would likely include cases such as Danil’s. In short, it all looks like one massive government-level corruption scandal.

The strange thing here is that Danil was declared missing after being involved in an offensive in Mariupol on May 14, 2026, where the 150-kilometer range is from the nearest frontline. It seems like the Ukrainian drone either got to him or the Russian corrupt commanders got to him before the Ukrainian drones did. Either way, this is horrible on so many levels, as I argued before; it’s always deception, forgery, and blatant lies with the officials of the Russian government. This has not changed for twenty years and likely won’t in the days ahead.

Speaking of drone warfare, and this goes together with Nebenzya’s claims yesterday, which I documented in my previous update, of Russia never deliberately targeting civilians, unlike Ukraine.

Well, a Russian drone operator struck a children’s playground in the heart of Kherson. Unfortunately, the precious father of two children was “unalived” by the drone. The wife and the two daughters were wounded as well but managed to survive.

In terms of territorial-related developments, Russian correspondents once again claimed their forces advanced in the Kostyatnynivka direction, which, from the strategic perspective, is critical for the takeover of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk settlements.

Yet, no confirmed gains were made, and instead, Russian bloggers are sharing tampered maps showing things that are far from reality. According to Russian outlets, Russians control a few percent more territory than OSNIT-based outlets claim.

Further, information surfaced from the officer of the 36th Marine Brigade that is deployed in the Kostyatnyivka direction that Russian forces continue to fail in successfully infiltrating the Kostyatnynivka settlement, due to well-established Ukrainian positions, while warning that the situation is still difficult.

The officer, Smiyan, reported the following information, adding that Russians are struggling in urban scenarios:

The situation is currently quite tense and intense. However, it is still too early to talk about the transition to the phase of direct urban battles. The enemy seeps into small groups, it can be one or two fighters. They are trying to find shelter among the buildings, gain a foothold, wait for reinforcements, and advance further with greater forces. But we currently do not record stable equipped positions in urban development

Meanwhile, in the White Sea, of the Republic of Karelia, Russia, Ukrainian drones have destroyed a Russian missile corvette, Project 21631 Buyan-M, which was employed by the Russian Navy in firing Kalibr and Onyx cruise missiles at various Ukrainian cities. One of the drones captured the moment a Russian sailor jumps out of that corvette in the sea.

Overall, Ukraine has cost Russia, at least based on this incident, $130 million; that is, if the corvette was loaded with missiles at the time of the attack, which likely was the case. Further, in regard to the other directions, the situation has not changed much. However, remember how I touched on Sumy yesterday, citing Nebenzya’s words?

Well, Russian drone operators eliminated two more civilians in this direction after I published that update, according to Sumy’s Regional Military Administration. I assume if Nebenzya were to hear such claims, he would either argue:

• Ukraine is framing Russia,
• Ukraine eliminated its own people…

Given that Russia’s diplomat, Lavrov, previously argued that Ukraine staged the Bucha massacre of 2022.

On top of this, a new video surfaced showing how Russian soldiers are treating those who refuse to fight. A Russian soldier was rolled up in a plastic food covering sheet and hanged on a tree by his feet. Another Russian soldier then began smacking his face.

The point here that I would like to make is that there is no end to Russia’s war crimes, corruption scandals, and deliberate deception.

Yet, this is who the US is trying to improve ties with. I can’t believe to this day that the US administration welcomed the Russian delegation team on American soil when Russia is literally waiting for the right opportunity to stab the US in the back. This is a well-established fact.
