We are proud to announce that As Goes The South has been officially selected to premiere at the Cine Soul Black Film Festival in conjunction with the Sacramento International Film Festival.
This festival presents another tremendous opportunity to showcase contemporary solutions, artists, and civic leaders driving progress in Birmingham and American South.
There couldn’t be a more important time to do the work and tell the story.
Here’s why.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, did it really fall? Of course it did, but in an age of Black liberation and holocaust deniers, it feels like a whole nation has been convinced that there isn’t even a forest. Let alone a tree!
We are the tree. We are the forest. As Goes The South is ensuring the world hears us.
