We’re officially at the halfway mark, and let’s be honest: even the algorithm is tired of my self-improvement stats and I bet you guys are yawning too. But this is just the beginning. I’ve made up my mind: I am not staying the same person. I’m coming back to you with real, determined wins — not the same old disappointments. But do me a favor? Don’t get bored of me so early. I actually need you guys on this journey more than you imagine. Anyways, here’s the unedited reality of Day 15 of rebuilding my life from scratch.
Day 15 started simply: wake up, pray, and hang out with my siblings. But simple days often bring the heaviest realizations. Life is entirely unpredictable, and we never know how much shared time we actually get. Soon, life pulls everyone in different directions — marriage, moving away for studies, or relocating for work. With my sister and brother both out of town for exams right now, the empty space made me realize just how fast things change. We take for granted the time we have together under one roof.
After coming home, I did some light work on my laptop before taking a power nap. Honestly, napping has become the most crucial part of my routine lately. I’ve been running low on hemoglobin (Hb), and dealing with low energy means I have to listen to my body. I used to think napping was lazy, but now I know it’s necessary. After waking up, I dragged myself to the laptop and got to work. I hit my daily streak on Khan Academy and then spent some time playing around with new ideas on Canva. It felt good to create something new.
As a multipotentialite — and according to my bestie ChatGPT, someone with ADHD — my brain works best when I’m roaming between completely different things. It’s a strange paradox: I absolutely hate change, but I get bored of the same things at the very same time. I live in this strange, constant contradiction where I’m terrified of change, yet completely suffocated by repetition. Finding the middle ground is my daily battle.I think even the AI got tired of listening to my new ideas one after another! But that’s why hitting my Khan Academy streak and then jumping over to try something new on Canva felt so right. It feeds the paradox.
To close out the day, I forced myself out for an evening walk to clear my head. The movement paid off …I actually managed to fall asleep on time and got some incredibly high-quality rest.
Take care, see you tomorrow!
