For the past three weeks, I’ve been on a journey I never anticipated.

Going to the hospital by ambulance was like riding a bumpy cloud.

This hospital bed was ‘home’ as I was treated for a heart issue.

I was unwell so my son took these photos for me.

It’s always an exciting moment when the hospital’s helicopter lands or takes off.

When the helicopter was quiet, it was time for pigeons to make an appearance. I think they liked looking in the window.

As I began to improve, I was up in the chair, able to see the Skyrise Apartments located downtown, overlooking the beauty in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

I’ve been home for a week and know that improvement will take time as I see a cardiologist mid-June for a more specific plan ahead.

God has been so faithful and merciful!!!

I will slowly begin posting stories and catching up with everyone.
