Tommy Fury VS Jake Paul Fight

Jake Paul, also best known as a social media star, has recently been participating in a variety of different boxing matches, one being against Tommy Fury on the night of February 28, 2023. Although it was a very intense fight, Tommy Fury came out victorious against the social media star with a score of 76–73, unlike Jake Paul who had a score of 75–74.

Throughout the fight, it could be seen that Jake Paul was struggling to keep up with the jabs being thrown at him by his opponent. Tommy Fury was extremely forceful with his jabs due to the fact that he kept hitting Jake Paul in the face. This often caused Jake to struggle and gain his composure during the fight.

Although Fury was determined with his jabs, Jake Paul still got a few good hits in until both opponents began clinch fighting and had to be broken up by the referee. This caused tension between both opponents and eventually led to points being deducted from both fighters. Each player received a one point deduction with Paul receiving his deduction in the fifth round and Fury during the sixth round.

After receiving his loss, Jake Paul stated that he was expecting a rematch against Fury in the future causing Fury to state that he was ready to do a rematch if that is what Jake Paul wanted.

Many people were watching this very much anticipated fight, including well known rapper Drake, who has also been well known for betting on sports. Drake bet on the Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight where he expected Jake Paul to knock out Tommy Fury for a great amount of $400,000. Sadly, Drake did not get his win in this fight causing him to lose his bet and not be able to profit $1.4 million.

Drake has been known for betting in sports such as the 2023 Super Bowl Game where the Kansas City Chiefs went against the Philadelphia Eagles. Drake made an extreme bet and was able to make a profit of this bet, taking home a total of $1.47 million.

Although the well known rapper has made some good bets, he has also made some bad ones, causing the topic of a ‘drake curse’ to be considered against the person he bet on. The Drake cure is best known as a definite loss on the person the rapper bet on as a winner. Jake Paul recently discovered that Drake bet on him, causing him to state that Drake put a curse on him and that was the reason he lost against fighter Tommy Fury.
