She Funded the Fire, Now She’s Mad It Went Out

Miriam Adelson spent hundreds of millions financing fascism and genocide — and the one time she’s “betrayed” is the one time the war didn’t deliver.

Before anybody gets it twisted — I am not riding for Trump. I am not riding for Adelson. I’m not Team Either. What I AM doing is sitting back with a bag of popcorn watching two architects of the same fascist project turn on each other because the heist didn’t pay out the way they planned. Both of these people are trash. I just happen to be enjoying the trash taking out the trash.

Family you know what I didn’t have on my Juneteenth bingo card? Watching a genocidal maniac having a MAGA FAFO because trump surrendered to Iran, you know a war we should never have fucking been in.

What am I talking about?

Well buckle the fuck up, because Miriam Adelson, the Genocidal Maniac who claims “free Palestine” is antisemitic [deep fucking sigh] and gave hundreds of millions to trump, literally financing fascism, had her newspaper publish a “Boo hoo” open letter to Donny Diapers claiming “he failed them” and y’all I laughed so fucking hard I almost peed my pants because the unmitigated GALL of this bitch to be in her feelings because he quit on THEIR fight!

Can I get a “What the actual FUCK is wrong with these people?” From all 50 states please?

I gotta keep it real, these people are utterly ridiculous. Find me a better word and I will gladly use it, but for now THAT’S what we are going with.

Let me really break this shit down for those that might not understand how silly this is.

Imagine you paid someone 200 million dollars to break into an art museum and steal some priceless work of art. The day of the heist, these assholes shoot at the guards, the guards shoot back, cripple your defenses, limit your offensive options and you STILL don’t get the fucking painting, your financier demands you run back into the fight you lost and retrieve the painting but you literally can’t and OH YEAH the painting was never theirs to begin with. They just wanted it because their book club told them it was theirs and they were “special.” You get caught, and are all but forced to take a plea deal, and the financier gets pissed at you and writes an angry letter.

See how stupid that is? Well that’s exactly what happened here.

Let’s get into who’s actually writing this “boo hoo” letter, because the receipts on this woman are long, and ugly, and consistent.

This is the publisher of Israel Hayom, a paper her late husband Sheldon Adelson founded back in 2007, that she now owns outright. The headline on this week’s open letter — penned by a journalist named Danny Zaken, not Miriam herself, but published under her masthead and her ownership — reads “You Could Have Been the Greatest President of All, But You Failed.” Inside it, Zaken tells Trump directly that he’s gravely harmed the free world’s interests and may go down as the president who humiliated America. He goes further — “You betrayed us, the Israelis” — and he mocks the man’s ego too, reminding him “Israel existed before you and will exist long after you,” after Trump apparently told a room full of people there’d be no Israel without him. The whole letter is built around rejecting Trump’s Iran ceasefire, calling it a “surrender agreement with a murderous and cruel terror regime.”

Read that again. A surrender. Not “a mistake,” not “premature.” A surrender — like there was something righteous being abandoned mid-conquest. Sit with that word choice for a second, because it tells you everything about how this woman’s camp actually understood that war before it stopped going their way.

Now let’s talk about the money, because with Miriam Adelson it is always, always, always about the money.

She’s sitting on a fortune so big that Trump himself bragged about it on a stage at the Knesset, telling the room she’s “got $60 billion in the bank,” then laughing that she was probably telling him “no, more.” That’s not a flex from a friend. That’s a kept man bragging about his benefactor’s allowance.

And he’s earned every bit of that comfort. Between 2015 and now, the Adelson family has poured more than $600 million into Trump’s campaigns and the broader Republican apparatus. In October 2024 alone, her super PAC Preserve America reportedly moved over $100 million toward getting him back in office.

And in December 2025, at a Hanukkah reception in the White House, she pledged him another $250 million — if he ran for a third term. Constitution be damned. Said out loud. In the building. On the record.

This is not a woman writing op-eds about democratic accountability. This is a woman who tried to buy her way around the Constitution six months before her paper started crying about “betrayal.”

And what exactly did Trump betray, according to her and her paper? Not human rights. Not democratic norms. Not the rule of law — she’s been trying to help him erase that for a third term, remember. No, the “betrayal” is that he stopped a war before it finished delivering what she actually wanted, which has never been peace. It’s been annexation.

Go back to 2024. Reports surfaced — through Haaretz, through New York Magazine — that Adelson was conditioning her support for Trump’s campaign on U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank, on terms that would leave no room for a Palestinian Authority and nobody left to even sign a peace deal with. Her camp denied it publicly.

But Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a longtime friend of hers, told the New York Times plainly that she does support annexation, and that to her, so-called “land for peace” deals are really land for war. That’s not a leak. That’s a friend confirming it on the record because he didn’t see anything shameful in saying it out loud.

And when October 7th happened, she stopped even pretending to be subtle. She wrote a column — under her own byline, in her own paper — calling the world’s critics of Israel’s war her enemies, the West’s enablers of those bent on wiping Israel off the map, and closing with three words that say everything: “they should be dead to us.” Not “wrong.” Not “misguided.” Dead to us. That’s the same woman whose paper is now clutching pearls because Trump supposedly humiliated the free world.

That’s the agenda this $250-million-dollar-pledging, third-term-funding, “dead to us”-writing woman has been running the entire time. The enlightened world, coming from a woman who just told you what she thinks “free Palestine” protesters deserve.

So when her paper says Trump “failed” them — failed who, exactly? Not the hostages. Not the civilians. Not international law. He failed the annexation project. He failed the permanent war footing that was supposed to soften up the ground for taking what was never theirs.

The grief in that letter isn’t moral. It’s logistical. It’s a contractor calling the client to say the job’s not finished, and the client screaming back that they already paid the deposit.

This is sunk cost fallacy wearing a press badge. She poured hundreds of millions of dollars into this man and this war, and when the investment stops producing the return she expected, the rage isn’t directed at the immorality of the war itself — it’s directed at the fact that the war ended without her getting what she paid for. That’s not principle. That’s a shareholder mad about quarterly earnings.

And watch the moral logic underneath it, because it’s the same trick every single time: support a war of conquest while calling its critics antisemites, write a column saying the people who oppose you should be “dead to us” — and then, the second the war doesn’t deliver the prize, suddenly you’re the wounded party. Suddenly you’re the one who got betrayed. That’s moral licensing on steroids — years of stockpiled self-righteousness cashed in the moment the bill comes due, so that even her tantrum gets dressed up as a principled stand.

It’s the financier blaming the crew for botching the heist. It’s never “we shouldn’t have planned the heist.” It’s always “you had ONE job.”

I told y’all — find me a better word than ridiculous, and I will gladly use it. But until then, this is what we’re calling it: a genocidal apologist who tried to bribe her way around the Constitution, who called dissent a death sentence in her own newspaper, is now publicly butt-hurt that the man she bought didn’t finish the job she paid for.

She funded the fire. She fanned the fire. She’s mad the fire went out before it finished burning what she wanted burned.

Boo. Fucking. Hoo.
