We pussycats are not so materialistic, in fact, we don’t want for much in life

A bowl of food, humans to cuddle, I guess our minimalism keeps us from strife

But you human slaves tend to want this thing, and oh, give me more of that

Unlike us superior inscrutable felines — the holier than thou, the pussycat!

But my human slave is doing his best, nowadays less inclined to fill his chest

Fill his treasure chest with this and that, because I have taught him less is best

He has largely decluttered, culled, reorganized and refreshed our living space

And I have given him more tips, to keep the less is more, minimalism in place

My first advice to all, is avoid putting things off — yes that’s procrastination

Which is a failure to move on, move forward, a source of cyclic frustration

Delaying things, putting them off, only makes life more overwhelming, yes

And that’s the lack of completion that we all need to, or should indeed address

We can start off small, by using the instantaneous, less than one minute rule

So, any task that can be done in a minute is complete, and you won’t be a fool

For example, he can put his shoes away — instead of the middle of the floor

And then there’s no chance of tripping over them — yes again, less is more

And then do the tasks you hate the most first, and save the best for last

That way you have something to look forward to — and life will be a blast

After sorting through your items, try the system — one in — and then one out

So, whenever you buy a new thing — throw out or give away an item no doubt!

Mark on your calendar week days, where you refuse to spend a dime or a cent

And of course, avoid the shops — & stay home to be richer where you are meant

Create a wish list if you like — where you can manage your hard-earned money

Write up columns: Need, if you need it soon, Want, to save for, or Wish 4 honey

The wish list is stuff currently beyond your hopes, and yes — financial means

So, try to avoid buying this thing too quickly, to avoid stress and bad dreams

And if you live with a materialistic person, who just buys almost every lil thing

Try not to be too hard on them, by being mean, or calling them a dingaling

You can teach them by example, just like how you write — as in, show, not tell

Yes, edit your possessions frequently, ruthlessly, and your life will be just swell
