How Boredom Turned Into a Token — and a Whole Ecosystem
Boredom. Real boredom. The kind where there’s literally nothing to fix, nothing to patch, nothing screaming for attention.
That’s usually the moment when my brain starts misbehaving.
When business processes are finally stable and everything works the way it should, sitting still becomes unbearable. We officially went on winter holidays on December 25th. By December 29th, I was already climbing the walls.
By the time the idea of launching a crypto project first appeared, we had already been running a company for seven years. A company operating in binary options trading. And thanks to transparent conditions and a product-first mindset, within the first three years we made it into the top 3 brokers in the CIS market out of roughly 650 competitors.
By year seven, we reached a strange phase: changing anything no longer meant improving — it meant breaking what already worked.
That’s when the thought first popped up: “We’re already using crypto for deposits anyway. Why not make our own token?”
I was talked out of it pretty quickly. Fairly, to be honest — the amount of work required was massive. For the next two years, we kept circling back to the idea. At one point, we even ran a community contest to explore possible token utility.
Eventually, everyone matured into it. The timing finally made sense.
And then — like in a fairy tale — everything seemed to work out.
We built the product on schedule. The community supported us and grew organically by tens of times in just a few weeks. The TON Foundation published several posts about us. Every morning, I wake up and clean my inbox from Tier-2 exchange listing offers.
Not our level. If it’s not Coinbase — don’t bother.
But of course, that’s not how real life works.
This is a new business. A new team. New mistakes. New problems. Everything is new. Add a sluggish market on top of that, and crypto optimism doesn’t exactly skyrocket.
We feel like a baby learning to walk — while someone keeps throwing LEGO bricks under our feet.
Our original strategy was simple: build a real game on Telegram. Not a tapper. Get support from TON, gain a marketing boost, list the token with the audience we already had, and only then gradually reveal the rest of the ecosystem to expand the token’s utility and trust.
Reality, as usual, had other plans.
The Telegram engine simply couldn’t handle what we envisioned. We ended up implementing maybe 30% of the original scope. It took twice as long and cost twice as much. And the expected TON boost? Didn’t happen either — they have their own rules.
Sure, we could’ve raised our hands and said, “Well… didn’t work.”
But the market being tough doesn’t mean we are. Over the years, we assembled what I honestly consider a dream team — each person a top-tier professional in their field.
So within a few days, we made a hard pivot:
“We’re building the ecosystem now. Not someday later.”
We brought all existing products together and added new directions that significantly strengthened an already solid system. We realized something important: we already have loyal users who’ve been with us for years. They don’t need to change anything. In fact, we can improve conditions for them.
Our VPN is already being purchased on intrade.bar. CosmoFox is about to undergo the biggest transformation — turning into a proper mobile game first and foremost, with an inventory marketplace where items can be bought both with tokens and fiat.
Right now, work is happening on all fronts.
We’re improving existing products. Obtaining a sub-license for Zylo Poker. Developing the second phase of CosmoFox. Expanding Granny VPN functionality. Building a single ecosystem website that connects everything. Adding seamless transitions from intrade.bar to zylo.io. Developing smart contracts for CEX listings.
And for the first time in a long while, we’re more confident in what we’re building than ever before.
The entire team is working toward one shared goal. Partners from launchpads, centralized exchanges, and market makers are helping us make the right moves — not fast moves, but correct ones.
I don’t know if our token will do dozens of X’s after trading starts.
But I do know one thing with absolute certainty:
We will do everything possible not to break what we’ve been building for the past ten years — but to make it better.
