Every year, we ask the Mendix Community a simple question: Who are you, and how are you actually building? Not who we assume you are — who you really are. That’s the whole premise of the Mendix Developer Community Survey, and this year’s edition just opened.

If you build with Mendix, whether you’re writing microflows daily or just started your first app last month, this is for you.

Why we keep asking

The Mendix community isn’t static. Backgrounds, team structures, the tools people reach for, the kinds of applications getting built — all of it shifts year to year, sometimes faster than we expect. The survey is how we replace assumptions with actual data. Your answers directly inform product direction, where we invest in developer experience, and how we prioritize what gets built next.

What it looks like in practice

Expect questions on your background and skills, how your team is structured, the applications you’re building, and the tools around Mendix you rely on. We’ve kept it tight: 5–10 minutes, most of it multiple choice.
