This piece, ASCEND, was inspired by the quiet resilience of a banyan-like bonsai. Its thick roots anchor it firmly to the earth while its branches continue reaching upward, reminding us that growth is often slow, silent, and unseen.

Strength isn’t always loud. It can be patient. It can be steady. It can exist in the simple act of continuing.

Rather than capturing a literal scene, this artwork explores the feeling of perseverance through monochrome tones, soft textures, and generous negative space.
