1. Have you ever scuba dived? If not, would you like to?

I’ve never scuba dived & have no desire to. My swimming talents are iffy & I don’t much like being underwater either 🙄😬

2. If money were no object, would you buy a $32,000 toilet with custom lighting, heated seating, built-in music, and a bidet? Also comes with automatic lid opening and closing and automatic flushing.

Absolutely not! At the risk of sounding trite? A toilet is a toilet. The only embellishment I’d ask for is a soft, heated seat for the Winter months.

$32,000???

3. Who is/was your favorite nightime talk show host?

I have two. My favorite former talk show host was Johnny Carson. He just made me laugh every night. Being able to stay up late to watch The Tonight Show was also a “rite of passage” in my house growing up.

Currently, I am loving Stephen Colbert. His show just got canceled 😡… but his comedy sure made you think about things happening from a different perspective!

4. If you lost power and could have one thing work, what would it be?

Depends if it’s in the Summer or Winter? In Summer? Definitely the AC. In Winter? Probably the coffee maker?

5. Would you rather ride on a camel or elephant? Neither?

I would rather see or be near an elephant than a camel. I don’t think we should be riding on either animal.

6. Would you rather have angel hair or regular spaghetti?

Actually, I prefer Linguine, but regular spaghetti will do over angel hair. My angel hair pasta always tends to stick together in clumps 😑

7. What is a smell you cannot tolerate?

More than 1?

I hate the smell of rotten oranges, rotten lemons, & brussel sprouts cooking. I’m also not crazy about the smell of weed — smells like skunk to me.

8. How much would you miss Medium if it closed?

I kind of like having a place where I can write & read (be read?) at will? I would miss Medium & some of the people on here for sure.

9. What age would you like to live until?

If what I like matters? I’d like to live until my quality of life becomes so compromised that living is no longer fun. Keeping my mental faculties & physical mobility is important to me. But accepting whatever comes — is part of life too, I suppose 😐?

10. Would you rather swallow a pill or eat a gummy?

I don’t mind swallowing pills — it’s quick & with enough water — no aftertaste.

Some of the gummies that are out there leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.
