Answer: Government funded healthcare and its intermediaries of care: family members and in-home healthcare providers. They are the bridge. The more we fund an infrastructure that sustains free healthcare, the stronger the stronger the bridge.

This article aims to heal both sides from within by establishing the parameters of my own jurisdiction and identifying weak areas: sugar. comfort. love.

I attract exactly what I desire. If I don’t like what I get, it’s up to me to look within. Not within my body but within my desires and expectations.

I cannot control things outside of my jurisdiction. The more I try, the more I project my own needs on the external world rather than accepting my own part asits designer. I get exactly what I ask for, in other words. If cartel meets me at the gates, its because I asked for it.

A cartel is defined as any economic system that leverages gain on another’s weakness. It is the market’s response to what I demand as a consumer. Cartel is the monopoly created to meet those expectations. The more I rely on it, the stronger it becomes.

As reliance on the infrastructure becomes normalized in my own economy, the more I grow dependent on it without questioning the cost. The more I rely on it, the less likely I am to seek or find a better way. My game becomes defined by the system. I am no longer an active agent of my own destiny. I am it’s pawn. I am “trafficked.”

Approaching the tail end of this trajectory — by sheltering victims of traffic closes this loop. Rather than providing a pathway out, the government simply replaces one cartel for another. It responds to immediate needs and continues to build itself as the solution.

Displacement has given me a bird’s eye view of the world. A graduate degree in history gives me the necessary tools to navigate the world to view it objectively and without attachment.

What do I see? I see addictions. I see a healthcare system built to sustain and treat them by simply replacing one object of desire for another. And I see a system that penalizes rather than facilitates attempts to become independent from it.

I see codependence masked as “care.” I see addictions to comfort-seeking solutions and reliance on others to provide them. And I see communities still trying to solve the back-end, mistaking it’s symptoms as the problem and mistaking effort as a solution. I see ego-driven economics cultivated as “assistance” but wielded only for its own gain. And I see law enforcement favor enterprises of “care” by delegating justice to a hierarchies of need in which he who has the least is assumed to need the most help. The more we try to guide him to a better way, the more we impose our own needs onto him and confuse our own needs as essential to his betterment. Rather than view his non-compliance as a sign of weakness, we should be taking notes.
