Dear All,
I am undertaking this endeavour to understand the Indian subcontinent through Ambedkar. For the next eleven months, I will be reading the complete works of Ambedkar in English. I am aware of the strain this project demands and the consistency it requires, and for someone like me, attempting to complete it is a humongous task in itself. I hope that sharing my journey with you will keep me motivated throughout the year. I will be following The Writings and Speeches of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar published by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. I am aware that these 17 volumes include various documents, such as legislative materials and a dictionary. I am still in the process of figuring out what I can omit, but I realised that if I wait for the perfect time, I will never start.
So, I am starting today and will update you weekly (hopefully on Fridays). I sincerely wish to complete this project; it is very important to me, and it is a test I have given myself to stop dreaming and start doing.
