Former Zimbabwe captain Brendan Taylor is set to make comeback to international cricket after a three and half year ban for breaching the ICC anti corruption code of conduct. He has been added in squad for the second test vs NZ, which starts on 7th AUG, in Bulawayo.

138 vs INDIA (2015 CWC)

Zimbabwe was playing aganist India on 14th March,2015 in Auckland. India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first. On a batting friendly pitch zimbabwe was finding it difficult to handle the Indian bowling attack and they were 126/4 in 28.3 overs.

After that Brendan Taylor built a 109 run partnership with Sean Ervine and ended up scoring 138 off 110 balls with 15 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 125.45 and helped his team to put a total of 287.

Twin Centuries vs BANGLADESH (BAN TOUR OF ZIMBABWE 2013)

Bangladesh was touring Zimbabwe for the two match test series in 2013. In the 1st test bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first. Zimbabwe batting order was falling like a house of cards but then Brendan taylor provided the stability to their inning as he scored his career best 171 not out and helped his team to post total of 389.

In the second inning as well when the match was slowly going away from the Zimbabwe he played a knock of high class. He scored 102 not out with 5 fours and 2 sixes. In the end,Zimbabwe won the first test by 335 runs.
