Dear coffee,

I love you each day…

You’re my “very first morning cup”

(Even though you’re my “homemade” brew!)

Many folks that I know “buy” their first cup each day…

But I say to myself:

“Lu, that won’t be you!”

And the way that you smile up at me from that cup!

You greet me with your usual scent, knowing deep down that “you taste amazing…”

And then with my added milk and some sweetener…
