All about “Qarib Qarib Single”…

Story: This is a story of a widow(Jaya) and a man(Yogi) having 3 Ex-girlfriends, they both meet on a dating app, and their nature signifies their profession, Yogi is a poet, and Jaya is into corporate, they decided to go on a trip to meet with his 3 Ex-girlfriends, this film is about the tragedies happened on the trip.

Profession in Nature: Yogi was a poet which means freedom, humor, and a calm mind, Jaya is into corporate which means trapped, and panic in any uncomfortable situation there is a reference to when his flight gets missed Yogi was chill instead Jaya started panicking, but slowly she understands him in the next time when the train gets missed she started panicking but when she reached she take revenge, by chilling and wondering with other guys to making him jealous because she also gets jealous by his Ex-girlfriends.

Manav, the husband of Jaya was in the army and died in the war she wants to move on in her life throughout the whole film she wants to love Yogi but there is something that repels her back at the end of the film she removes her password which was on the name of Manav. one more thing, jaya never used to share her bottle with anyone which means she didn’t want to share his love with anyone, at the end she shared her love with Yogi by sharing bottle.

Yogi leaves his flight and train and then tries to come up with a way which signify her past loves or Ex-girlfriends but in the end, he boards with Jaya and says “ Is bar to nahi jaane dunga” which also indicates, like his other Ex-girlfriends, he will never leave Jaya.
