Talk to anyone, anywhere in the world — with the universal language.

“I don’t wanna speak other languages” — Have you ever thought that? What about “I don’t wanna know how to dance”? — Yes, I thought not. Of course, you’d prefer to know, right? Well, guess what, just like foreign languages open doors to other worlds, so does dancing — social dancing, in particular.

No matter where you go in the world, if you know how to dance, there’s always a community for that dancing style. And some communities are surprisingly large. If you’re in a foreign city, you can easily go to the local dance club for a training session and have a fun evening with people you never met before. Or you go for the ultimate experience and attend the local social dancing parties. Once you’re at the party you can start “talking” to anyone in the language of “dancing”. And since the main focus is on dancing itself, everything extra that may come out of it you can count as a bonus.

Everywhere from Europe, to America and Asia, the language of dance is the same, with the occasional nuance, of course. But even certain patterns that are specific to the local community can be picked up by an intermediate dancer fairly quickly. And dancing is like riding a bicycle — you never forget how it’s done. Yes, you might get rusty if it’s been a while since you last did it but you’ll easily get back in the groove within a few songs at the party. This is especially true if you like it and genuinely enjoy it. Not to mention if you know and like certain songs as well.

So after you’ve read so far, do you still believe it’s a good idea to not even try it out? To lay on the couch doom-scrolling on your phone, play video games, or even worse — doing nothing after work, instead of meeting new people and potentially changing your life for the better in every possible aspect? Yes, I mean it, the last sentence was chosen very carefully, trust me. I’ve been there and I know what I’m talking about — dancing really is life-changing.

There’s no downside to dancing, absolutely none, and unlimited upside. It’s hard to imagine the amount of positives that come out of it, to be honest. So got out and find the closest dance studio, and start dancing. I know you thought about it many times. Today is the day!
