Eid Inside a Tent in Gaza: My Children Sleeping With Their Eid Clothes Beside Them

I returned tonight to our tent and found my children asleep… with their Eid clothes carefully placed beside them, waiting for tomorrow morning. 🤍

As a father, moments like this stay with you forever. They are simple, quiet — but they carry a depth of emotion that is hard to describe.

Even inside a tent, after displacement and uncertainty, my children are still holding on to the joy of Eid. They are still waiting for the morning with hope in their hearts, as if life can still be normal for a moment.

No child should grow up in such conditions. No family should have to replace safety with survival.
