My Review I received an ARC of this book from BookFunnel. This book is out today. Now I have been waiting for this book since I finished reading Shy Girls Can’t Date Billionaires. I wanted to know what happened to Vanessa. So I waited and waited while reading and enjoying the rest of the series. Today is finally the day. I’m happy to say Vanessa and Dax didn’t disappoint! Vanessa has been volunteering at the local hospital. One day she saves a boy who others in the hospital don’t seem to want to save. Later, she finds out his name is Dax, and he intrigues her and can’t stop herself from thinking about or seeing him. Two people who meet at a hospital develop an unexpected friendship that blossoms into something more. With Dax, Vanessa can drop the act of being perfect and be a free teenager for a few hours and Dax can also lay down his burdens. I liked the fact that try as they might, they couldn’t and really didn’t want to stay away from each other. This book was sweet with a hint of adventure, and I can’t wait for the next book.
