It was late at night, I was sleeping but I suddenly woke up

Hearing this distant sound of agony that was piling up inside me instead of recognising my greive I decided to ignore it because that feeling was a fantasy that can not become my reality. Actually this is not the first night that I woke up, this has been happening to me since I stopped talking to him.I thought ignoring him will relieve me from this torment but it is getting worse.

I opened my diary that I closed 11 months ago . And here he was MR.ARIES MICKELSON. The person I hated with my whole heart never would have imagined that he will be the main subject of my romantic interest.

I knew him since I was six. He was my neighbour. AT first he used to live in the 3rd floor of my building but then he shifted to our floor . Through my window I can clearly watch his room. At first I liked the fact that someone who is in my age live across me but as the time passed I started to hate him and I have valid reasons for that. One day when I was in the staircase and I heard him talking to his friend about me. As I listened to their conversation my heart froze as I heard him saying, “THE GIRL NEXT DOOR IS KINDA WEIRD . SHE GOES TO OUR SCHOOL RIGHT? GOD SHE WAS PEEKING IN MY ROOM THROUGH HER WINDOW. I ACTED LIKE I DID NOT SEE HER BUT THAT WAS SO DAMN SCARY. I HOPE SHE DES NOT COME UP TO ME AND TALK.’’

And that’s it. My hatred for Aries started then and there. I wanted to die out of shame but I pulled myself together and ran to our house without turning back.Though I knew he as not lying but he didn’t asked for my side of the story. So what happened was I came out of the shower but I forgot to close my curtains so I knelt down in the floor to cover myself as my room was exposed to his vision. Then I peeked into his room to check if he had seen me but I found him sleeping on the chair not knowing the fact that he was pretending to sleep because of me. I was so scared taht he would tell everyone in the school. Next day I wasn’t ready to go to school fearing that he would tell everyone but as I reached school that didn’t happen.

I returned home but nothing is same anymore. I keep my curtains closed and avoid eye contact with him in the school as I don’t go outside that much the chance of bumping into him was zero percent. After few days had passed,my mum asked me to buy some mangoes from the shop across the street though I didn’t want to go out but after seeing how furious my mother was I had to go out.

While I was purchasing the mangoes I heard a familar voice in fact a very familar one. I turned my face and my nightmare was standing beside me.

In that momment, I found out my face was very expressive. After seeing me, he maintained his distance I mean oviously he would do that. But turns out as my expressions were quite impolite towards him he decided to not to talk to me.

Walking towards my house never been more scarier than this exact momment. But surprisingly he called my name I was so stunned that I just froze then and there and forgot to turn. After calling me several times I turned and faced him. To my surprise when I turned towards him he was smiling. Though that was a very normal reaction coming out of him as he is an extrovert but considering our history that was quite shocking.

There was a slight distance between us so he walked towards me slowly. I hated him even every cell of my body hated him but him walking towards me holding that smile made me so nervous and excited for no reason. Also thousands of questions were popping out in my mind why he is even talking to me?why he is smiling at me?doesn’t he despise me?

Thinking all that when I looked up he was standing close to me acting a bit strange and finally he asked, “WHY DID YOU CLOSE YOUR CURTAINS? DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?’’ I was……
