Art’s chopper landed. Faint moonlight shone on the giant metal of Garuda building. The ambitious Nusantara project had become ruins. No humans ever came to the ‘new city’ again.

Except for his son, Noah.

“They will attack the Machinarchy!”

“It’s Metzmera, Dad!” Noah corrected.

“How’s Mom and Meta?” Noah’s voice was softer.

“They…” Art paused, miss you. “…are fine,”

“Dad, you need to leave now. It senses you. It’s lost trust in humans lately.”

“Stay safe!” Please come home

“Be well, Son!” God, you’re only fifteen.

Art hopped into the chopper, leaving his son — and his army of organic machines.
