A Song In Her Heart
With magic in her music
A Song In Her Heart
With magic in her music

Author’s Image of her Cousin
My cousin, Rhonda, visited last night. She lives just minutes away by car.
She is a talented musician: a self-taught pianist, guitarist, and ukulele player.
Beyond playing instruments, she writes graceful poetry, drawing on impressions that linger in her heart.
She transforms those recollections into songs that convey longing, hope, and pride.
Whenever I listen, I wonder how she composes just the right notes on her instruments.
These melodies magically keep her audience in awe as she performs.
It is remarkable how she uses her talents to write for children.
She keeps them giggling, dancing, focused, and wanting more.
Rhonda's energy is infectious. Her playful spirit draws out laughter and pure joy from everyone around her.
Since we were children, wherever we went, she would suddenly compose a song in her head, create a tune, and passionately sing it.
She has performed in St. Barths in the French Caribbean.
She has played in pubs, at parties, in entertainment venues, in hotels, and at concerts.
She has recorded CDs with incredible vocals. Her performances can even be found on YouTube.
Phoebe Snow, a renowned singer-songwriter, recorded Rhonda's song, “We May Never Feel This Way Again,” on her ‘Something Real CD.
That is the greatest tribute to any songwriter. She wanted to record more of Rhonda's songs, but Phoebe passed away before she had the chance.
Rhonda's multifaceted musical gifts continue to amaze, and she has come heartbreakingly close to wider recognition.
It is not fair that in the entertainment business, one can come so close to fame.
But somehow, the right person who could help her reach that success takes a wrong turn.
However, for Rhonda, fame means fulfillment in her skills and in the smiles and praise she receives.
So many who’ve heard her love her voice and the messages in her lyrics, accompanied by her instruments, and never give up.
She has always given her very best. The magic is in the genuine connections she creates with her audience, one heartfelt performance at a time.
I want to see her name, face, and biography on every top ten list of musicians, lyricists, and entertainers.
Still, no matter where her name appears, her greatest footprint is the way her music endures — leaving a lasting impression on all who have been touched by her gifts.
