Who decided this was the norm?
Recently I spoke with Haseeb, founder of BloodSnap — an AI platform that simplifies blood test results and makes diagnostics easier for patients and healthcare providers.
We spoke about his first 90 days of posting into silence, the moment he realized consistency alone wasn’t enough, and the simple shift that got him his first real user.
Haseeb gave me a lot to think about what content distribution actually means for early stage SaaS founders.
4 takeaways from our conversation:

Haseeb
1/ Posting to everyone is posting to no one
In the first 90 days the BloodSnap founder was posting random startup advice and AI content with no clear direction.
Consistent. Active. Going nowhere. The biggest mistake early on was trying to speak to everyone instead of focusing on a specific audience, he said. Sound familiar?
Most SaaS founders make the same mistake. They post broadly hoping something lands. Nothing does. Then they conclude content doesn’t work for their niche.
Content works. Vague content doesn’t.
The moment you stop writing for everyone and start writing for one specific person with one specific problem — everything changes. Who is the one person your next post is actually for?
2/ Consistency without direction is just noise
He was posting consistently. Still no users. Still no real conversations. "I realized consistency alone isn’t enough when you’re not getting users or real conversations," he said. This is the trap most founders fall into.
They’ve been told consistency is the key. So they show up every day. Same format. Same topics. Same results.Nothing.
Consistency is not the strategy. Relevance is the strategy.
Show up consistently with content that speaks directly to your user’s specific pain and consistency compounds. Show up consistently with generic content and you just consistently get ignored.
Chase relevance. Not volume.
3/ The post that got his first user wasn’t clever. It was specific.
His first user didn’t come from a viral thread. Didn’t come from a growth hack.
It came from a simple post explaining a real problem in healthcare diagnostics and exactly how BloodSnap was solving it.
"It worked because it was specific and relatable," he said.
That’s the whole formula. Not clever. Not polished. Not optimized. Specific and relatable.
Write the post that makes your ideal user think this person understands my problem better than I do. That’s the post that converts.
4/ Posting is not distribution. Engagement is.
This is the one most founders completely miss.
What changed the most was distribution. I stopped just posting and started actively engaging with people, communities, and relevant conversations, he said.
Posting puts content on your profile. Distribution gets content in front of people who don’t follow you yet.
There’s a massive difference.
His conversion flow now looks like this: Content → Profile → Website → Conversation → User.
Every step has a job. Every piece of content moves someone one step closer to becoming a user.
That’s not an accident. That’s architecture.

Most SaaS founders are building the wrong thing.
They’re building a posting habit. What they actually need is a distribution system.
One that finds the right people, builds trust before the pitch, and converts attention into users predictably.
BloodSnap’s founder figured that out. The question is: when will you?
