the geisha — russet leaves float away

There’s a quiet dignity in how the moment loosens its grip, beauty practised and perfected, then released without protest. What remains is not loss but grace — the soft permission to change, to let colour drift from form into memory. The figure at the centre does not follow the leaves; she stays, holding stillness as the season moves on around her.
