I Will Be Brave

Tentatively, she poked her head up over the wall of shyness and asked the question. Leaned into his answer. Connection, apprehension, delight. Eyes locked.

“So, what’s the story of your life?” The answer was clear in her mind as she walked away. Chest buzzing, insides melting.

Well, it just got a lot longer.
