the last time i saw the sun i ran with all the mad cackle of freedom from the old penitence almost as if
purgatory was just another long summer of a life in youth until that final road to Damascus finally
split.
and how could two walk together if there was always more than two when the veil was torn the earth shook
tectonic in the gulf between us in final stop of innocence we were not what we had done making no difference now
who held back from who
in the lightning strike of a broken mirror i see you jagged making new meaning from constellations of glass
still i adore you gazing now in bask of your pale silver light still too radiant i am reeling from habit repeating
possession is just attrition
thinking now i could no longer even imagine to grasp to collapse or traverse the possibility of sink drowning
into you once again spiral needing tether to keep my feet firm on the ground in mantra endless repeating
to love me is to suffer me
and wishing for you all the radiance that you have broken the chains of devotion and memory
birds do not sing in caves and you have burst through breathing freedom like air and i will adore — still i adore
