Walking past some throw pillows in my grandma’s house in the living room, I came across a small red throw pillow.

Immediately I saw it, I imagined a face on it. I just couldn’t let it go.

I got to work.

By work, I mean Crocheting eyes and a mouth for it😅.

When I was done, I felt so happy. I named the little guy Fernandos.

What’s my reason for writing this article you might ask?

A lot of times, people take themselves too seriously in life.

Everyone talks about hustle, grind, make it.

Its so rampant that social media makes it look like if you’re not doing something in a certain way, you’re left behind.

You feel bad and sometimes it can lead to depression and low self esteem.

But think about it though, these posts You’ve been seeing on social media are people’s highlight reels.

Tell me,

Which one of you will open any of your social media platforms and upload a video of you crying because of how shitty you felt at a time? Or an opportunity you missed? Or a failure even?

I certainly won’t do that.

So that’s just it.

Worrying won’t solve anything.

Comparing yourself to others won’t change anything.

The only way things can start changing to the point of success in your life is when you stop letting your fears get to you.

And the basic fear of humans is FEAR.

Fear hinders a lot of things.

Fear of Failure,

Fear of other people’s opinions,

Fear of Poverty…

I can’t even start listening to them all because there are a lot.

You know your own fear. What is keeping you from starting, or even continuing?

Until you work on your fears, you can only get so little in life.
