Your body is made of five fundamental elements water, air, fire, sky, and earth. In simple, your body gives you a name, fame, power, money, and an identity.

Are you a perishable body itself or something more? This is a primary question you may ask yourself.

Your physical form is important in both material gains and spiritual joy.

The physical body enjoys material pleasures, like food, money, power, sex, etc. These are the basic requirements of a mortal being.

Have you ever thought this mortal body is the only way to meet God, the infinite intelligence?

All your anxiety, apprehensions, and inquiries about natural and supernatural powers start from you.

Your physical form is important but your external form is not you. You are something more than that. What is working in you is not mortal. Is it mind or something more? Yes, you are right you are not a body or mind but the soul, the immortal entity.

In the Bhagavad Gita, the soul its nature, and its importance has been discussed in detail. Your body is a residence for the immortal soul.

It depends upon the soul how many days or times it will stay in your body. It will remain until it is found suitable to abode.

However, your search for the absolute truth starts with you. Your mind, body, and soul mutually agreed to work together for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The soul is a spark of the universal consciousness. You are alive due to the presence of the soul in you. You will be treated as a dead body when the soul departs.

Your purpose in life is not only to enjoy material things but also for self-realization. This self-realization is not a small thing to understand. Conceptual clarity only comes through the grace of the divine guidance of your Guru, the spiritual guide.

The path to the ultimate goal, God realization starts from you. If you have no previous experience (in earlier incarnations) with spiritualism, God, prayer, yoga, or worship, you may not get any interest in God and self-consciousness.

In fact, we are born spiritual but as we grow our attachment to worldly pleasures makes us materialistic and forget our creator.

We are heavily pressed by earthly actions, leaving no scope to introspect about our true authenticity. However, our past experiences with God remind us about our future course of action on the path to self-realization.

It is the blessing of God that only in the human body one can realize God and act to achieve salvation. God has given you everything to realize yourself and God within you and everywhere.

Your physical body is precious and you have all the abilities to prepare yourself for self-realization. Preserve your body, take care of it, and never dislike you. God is living in you making you alive. As you have not progressed on the spiritual path, you fail to realize that you are God yourself.

You can emancipate yourself from the cycles of birth and death, the symbol of pain and pleasure. Start now, to understand yourself and meditate on your presiding deity or personal god. The next way to progress will automatically open.

Serve your God you will meet your spiritual guide by his grace. Believe in the ethical living of a man. You will see the way to nirvana or liberation of your soul, and find your true self.
