There was Bob, the Assistant to the Assistant Manager, Robert. Bob’s Assistant, Rob, assisted him in getting all that needed doing done.

Robert, Bob, and Rob shared an Executive Assistant, Bert who, blatantly unrecognized, ran the show.

Two weeks ago, Bert resigned. Today was her party.

Rob, desperate, ran to her cube to ask about the SOPs… no Bert. He spent the morning looking for her.

Frantically searching for the HR files without luck, Bob scurried about trying to catch up with Bert, finally catching her in the elevator. Breathless, he asked where they were.

She smiled and chirped, “Toodleloo!”
