The meaning of a word

I dig my hands Into buckets of words Jumbled up Piled together I sift through And organise The unruly letters Into the phrase I know it needs to be Never forcing Simply guiding The voice to sound As the ebb of tide Passing on From one word To the next They speak to me With unheard voice Patterns swirl As I check the flow Over every minor letter I compile into a word I let them reach Out toward me In sounds and suggestions Shapes and flavour Taste touch and feel With every sense To be certain I put it where it belongs
