If you’re lucky enough to be on the East Coast, winter is usually much milder. I’ve been in Durban for a couple of winters, and honestly, I kind of enjoyed it.

You’ll still get cooler temperatures, but sunny beach days aren’t uncommon. The ocean also remains relatively warm compared to other coastal regions.
