Bob Dylan Jumbo SACD Box Set

This box set goes for more than $400 on eBay. For an out-of-production, limited edition 16-disc SACD set of Dylan seems like a bargain at $25/disc. However, I was like enough to stumble across a copy that was one quarter that cost! Complete and in good condition too! Lucky day!

Bob Dylan was the favorite artist of one of my favorite people, Steve Jobs, so I had to jump on the opportunity to explore Bob’s discography in such a comprehensive way as this set entails.

I started with “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan” (1963) and while not ever song is recognizable to me the disc starts with a household track and quintessential Bob Dylan, “Blowin’ in the wind”.

“Masters of war” was a pleasant surprise-especially lyrically. “Down the highway” is extremely bluesy. Last track is full of epic harmonica.
