Amazon Haul Is Growing. What Does It Mean for Sellers?

Amazon has officially joined the ultra-cheap shopping race. Amazon Haul focuses on products under $20, with many starting at $2.99. And shoppers are noticing: visits tripled between June and November 2025, while Haul expanded to 25 countries in one year (Amazon via GeekWire).

Don’t Try to Beat Haul on Price

Haul is built for high-volume, low-margin products, with cheaper fulfillment and 1–2 week delivery. Instead of racing to the bottom, sellers should make premium pricing easier to justify through better quality, faster delivery, stronger branding, or customer service.

That matters because Haul is already resetting shoppers’ price expectations. Regular Amazon sellers should review pricing, consider budget-friendly product variants, and clearly communicate why their products cost more.

Watch Where the Demand Goes

Haul still has room to grow: only 16% of US shoppers use it monthly, compared with 28% for Temu and 23% for Shein (Retail Dive).

Sellers can use that growth as market research. Watch which categories and low-cost products perform well, identify gaps, strengthen supplier relationships, and prepare inventory strategies in case Amazon eventually expands seller access. For now, the lesson is simple: don’t automatically become cheaper — become clearer about why you’re better.
