MARS TRANSITS ANTARES ON 18 AND 19 NOVEMBER.

Antares is one of the 4 Royal Stars of Persia, called Watcher of the West and whose name means anti Mars or rival of Mars. In the Western tradition it is now located at the 9th degree of Sagittarius.

It symbolises powerful, fiery warrior energy, the desire to stand up for your beliefs, the courage to fight, and success if acting with honourable intentions. It can also signify dark and malevolent power, or sudden, violent endings and this is energy that could also be unleashed with Mars’s transit next week.

Be especially aware if you have any planets or angles at 8 to 10 degrees Sagittarius.

Two years ago when Mars crossed this fixed star I was attacked by someone whom I thought was my friend. To me it seemed as if she was delusional but was convinced of her beleifs. There was absolutely no provocation and it was utterly devastating. I struggled to understand it. But I didn’t know then about Antares or the fixed stars, only wondered why.

Antares is on my DC and so this was not the first time this has happened. It seems that with the Aldebaran/Antares axis on my AC/DC I can expect such attacks which certainly explains how they happen so suddenly, unpredicatbly and with such shocking force. In retrospect the red flags were there in my relationships and interactions, my intuition warned me, but I didn’t listen.

Now when I see Mars approaching this place I am hyper aware of who I am close to and what is going on with them. I am prepared.

Sometimes it can’t be avoided and if that is the case all one can do is brace for impact. Above all, to avoid unnecessary pain damage or remorse do your best not to be triggered by it.
