When I walked into the Nacho’s Mexican Restaurant on South Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, I realized immediately why i think of it as a place that gives and takes. It gives comfort, flavor, and a sense of community, but it also takes something from you like your stress from a long day or even your depression, Maybe sometimes not all the time. Murfreesboro has grown into one of Middle Tennessee’s busiest cities, and South Rutherford Boulevard is one part of the city that exhibits this growth through a variety of different restaurants and small business emerging, and the amount of traffic that has grown on South Rutherford the last few years. This restaurant is not your typical in and out type of experience like McDonald’s or Wendy’s so it does not have a drive thru, and that is a part of one of its characteristics. It asks you to sit down, relax, and enjoy a simple yet meaningful experience: a small basket of cheese nachos that creates the feeling of comfort the one you get when you finally get to lay down after a long day.

I went alone on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, a type of day where the clouds cover the sun just enough, a day where the temperature is exactly right, not too hot, and not too cold, and a day that reminds you to relax just breathe.
