The Velveteen Rabbit is a lovely story about a stuffed bunny who becomes the new plaything at a nursery one day. He is initially curious, but when the other, more costly toys learn he is made of lesser material, he is rapidly ostracised.

This bothers the poor rabbit immensely until one of the toys one day introduces him to a new concept: toys can become real. The toy rabbit learns that in order to become a real bunny, one must be loved by one’s owner to the point where the toy begins to fall apart.

The little humans are gonna love this. Also, as they grow up, they will incorporate sound moral lessons from it. :)

This book reminds me of Chandler :D (FRIENDS ref.)
