The Version of Me You Never Met

Funny how we once dreamed about the same future, and somehow I ended up chasing it on my own.

Sometimes I wish you could meet this version of me. The girl I’ve become after everything. Maybe we would’ve been more equal. Maybe we would’ve understood each other better.

It’s only been half a year, but I’ve changed so much. I’ve grown in ways I never thought I could.

And honestly… thank you.

As strange as it sounds, you became my biggest inspiration. I don’t think I would’ve pushed myself this hard if I had never met you. You unknowingly became the turning point that led me back to the version of myself I thought I’d lost, the ambitious, fearless girl who believed she could achieve anything.

Before you, I had forgotten who she was.

After everything fell apart, I had no choice but to find her again.

We’re no longer walking the same path, and that’s okay. I genuinely hope life is treating you well.

Maybe this is the last thing I’ll ever say about us.

If I could choose one thing to remember, it would be that every ending quietly led me to a new beginning.
