JD Vance — Failure in the European Stage

Day 27 and Trump is again golfing. Obviously, his dislike of the cold snowy weather in DC and his need to golf as much as possible sent him once again down to Mar-A Lago. Meanwhile his ignorant Vice President is off in Europe trying to promote right wing nationalistic propaganda. For someone with a degree from Princeton, he, Vance, obviously is as ignorant as his boss, FOTUS, you know the man who wears orange makeup and has 43 felony convictions.

Anyone born to parents who experienced WWII, clearly understands that Europe will never go back down that road, especially the Germans. Unlike in other countries, Germany spends a great deal of emphasis on continuing to educate its youth on Hitler and the atrocities of the NAZIs. Even to this day, people make sure their children, grandchildren and great grand children are told the stories of the harsh life under Hitler.

Western Europe now knows that are mostly on their own now. The US has veered to a socialist extreme under Trump and Trump has packed his government with others that support putting the rich and entitled in charge. Worse yet, the Republicans in the House and Senate remain his supporters. Is that because some of them are just as wealthy and entitled or is it that they have forgotten the USA is a democracy, not an autocracy.

Back to Vance’s poor performance on the international stage, he failed. He did unite Europe, but not to any side that fits in the MAGA White House. His rhetoric just lets the Europeans know, that our US President is bat shit crazy and his Vice President is truly unable to read a room or think for himself.

And so the circus continues to play in Washington for yet another week. But what are real Americans going to do?

Most of use have at least one relative that went over to the dark side, who is still drinking the Kool-Aid of MAGA. Small breaks in the MAGA hallucination are beginning to happen, but they are very small. With devasting weather events flooding the MAGA heartland states in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas, we will have to wait to see how those folks respond. If Trump does his usual limited help, no empathy, that could be the initial pin prick to start leaking air in the Trump MAGA balloon.

In the meantime Musk is sending out termination notices to probationary employees in government and closing out others altogether. Career employees have also been terminated, some so close to their pensions, it is shameful. Worse yet, instead of honoring the pensions, those also are being denied. If this sounds familiar, this is how robber barons culled the workforce, especially those that bankrupted railroads.

We cannot look back, but must look forward, midterms are 624 days away. We have to extract the oligarchs from the Congress and the Senate. It is the only way we get our country back.

Yes, we need staff and dollar reduction in the government, but the way to do that is through Congressional cuts, not an entitled Ketamine addict with Asperger's syndrome who fancies himself an autocrat gutting our government
