Transits: planetary movement during Aquarius season 2026 Aquarius season is busy with much planetary activity seeding new beginnings. One-by-one, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are making their sojourn across Pluto, conjoining with the planet of power, secrets, wealth, and control. Over the coming year, we will come to understand what messages are being passed and how these unions will define each planet’s journey around the zodiac. This is like a New Moon reset for these planets with Pluto. Briefly, expect this to be related to leaders, commerce, contracts, relationships, and violence. The storyline will be unavoidable when these planets square and oppose Pluto in the signs of Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. Later in the year, Venus will retrograde in Scorpio and Mars will retrograde in Leo, accentuating the hard aspects over a longer period of time.
We will experience a rare triple conjunction of the Sun, Pluto, and Mercury on January 22. The Sun is weakened in Aquarius. The Sun represents leaders and royalty, and when it conjoins other planets, they weaken. Their significations diminish and agendas become hidden, until there is a separation of 15° away from the Sun. This is a period of time where power and control, secrets, riches, communication, transportation, commerce, agreements, and media are under this influence.
Neptune re-enters Aries on January 26, picking up where it left off between March and October 2025, inititating a new 168-year cycle. Neptune was last in Aries during 1861–1875. Neptune represents deception, delusion, intoxication, spirituality. Aries, a Mars-ruled fire sign, hosts the activity of Neptune for 14 years. Mars brings action, aggression, courage, severing, and conflict. Aries wants motion and action with quick results; it is impatient with obstacles and things that slow it down. This is a sign of risk-taking and initiative. Saturn conjoins Neptune on February 20. Saturn represents boundaries, limitations, structure, and time. But in Aries, Saturn is in fall, indicating obscurity and being ignored. The Neptune-Saturn conjunction creates history-making moments. Saturn will be in Aries until April 2028. This time period will be historic.
On February 4, Uranus stations direct, soon wrapping up its seven-year mission in Taurus. It will move into Gemini April 26 for its new seven-year directive. In Gemini, Uranus will be in flow with Pluto, Neptune, and Saturn, furthering their agendas with ease, creating much disruption in the process.
Mercury is entering its two-month shadow period on February 11, indicating it will cover the same 14 degrees of Pisces three times. Mercury is fallen and in detriment in Pisces, meaning it becomes obscure and in a state of disintegration. Mercury governs things like communication, commerce, travel, contracts, and media. Retrogrades bring repetition, detours, and hidden motives.
On February 17, we will experience our first solar eclipse across the Aquarius/Leo axis since 2017–18. Eclipses usher in endings and beginnings. Solar eclipses are when the Sun is hidden and relates to leaders, royalty, and those in power. Eclipsing can mean someone is removed from power, either by force or through death. Mars crosses the eclipse degree on February 28, amplifying fate.
