From IPConfig to Defcon: A Journey of Learning and Growing Together

Getting into cybersecurity can seem overwhelming at first due to the vast amount of topics to cover and the presence of experts all around us on YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), GitHub, Defcon news, and more. But remember, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. The experts we see today were once absolute beginners too, who might have proudly shown their friends the results of an ipconfig command. The key is that they continued learning and didn’t give up despite the obstacles they faced while trying to understand completely new and complex topics. There will be ups and downs along the way, and that’s perfectly normal. Just keep learning bit by bit, and you’ll find yourself at Defcon in no time.
