The internet is not allowing Khamenei’s funeral procession to receive the attention or prominence it deserves, as if he were nobody.
It is failing to reflect the resilience Iran has displayed, the leadership Khamenei exercised, or the stark contrast between Iran’s performance in this conflict and Trump’s repeated claims of victory.
While Trump continues to declare success, each passing day has presented a different reality.
With every passing day, the United States has suffered damage to its reputation, its economy, its diplomatic relationships, and its standing as a global superpower.
Under Trump’s leadership, it has become a nation that possesses immense power yet appears increasingly unable to exercise it with purpose, restraint, or moral authority.
The fear Khamenei instilled in Trump, and the courage he inspired among the Iranian people, were clearly demonstrated throughout this conflict.

Whatever political differences may exist among Muslim-majority nations, this confrontation has reinforced Iran’s position as a leading force in the Muslim world.
No other Muslim-majority nation has displayed the same combination of resolve, resilience, strategic capability, and determination to stand up to the United States with such conviction.
That is the reality the internet is failing to reflect, and it is doing so for a reason. Instead, it selectively focuses on “Death to America” slogans.
At the same time, it ignores the fact that these were the very people Trump sought to provoke, leading many to lose their lives simply because a despot or a megalomaniac was determined to avoid direct involvement for fear of the same embarrassing outcome the world has now witnessed.
Nobody deserves hate, nobody deserves death, and nobody has the right to choose the future of others while their own is hanging from the cliff.
Global institutions, nations, and leaders have also proven that their understanding of justice is nothing more than hypocrisy, concealed behind interests rather than reason, peace, or humanity.
Yet Iran must heed this lesson and bring this cycle of hatred to an end, for it will never produce a future worthy of acknowledgment.
