When Dr. Vance attempts to exploit their power, Koboman is forced to confront an enemy who sees the Earth as something to control.

To him, the Heartstone isn't merely a weapon.

After a devastating confrontation, the Prime Heartstone is returned to its sacred sanctuary beneath Bakassi. But the victory is only temporary.

Vance survives.

The Dominion Returns

Dr. Vance's second campaign is far more calculated than his first.

He doesn't simply march on Bakassi.

He builds a planetary network.

Hidden structures activate around the world. Strange conduits begin connecting distant locations. The Dominion discovers that the Heartstones are part of something much larger.

And Vance realizes that he doesn't necessarily need to possess the Heartstones.
