No one makes my son cry

As soon as I open the main door, my son rushed towards, crying. He told me that his favourite toy is missing. He was inconsolable at this point. I picked him up and went to his room. He pointed which toy was missing. It was the exact same toy that I have gotten for him for his 4th birthday.

The toy was placed on the top shelves that is beyond his reach; a height only adults would have reached. I asked my domestic helper if anyone could have entered the room. She couldnt recall. Maybe is my wife because she at home the entire day until 2.45pm.

I tried to comfort my son as much as I could. I told him that we will get it replaced; along with some ice cream from his favourite place. I gave him a big hug.

I went to the master bedroom. I threw myself onto the bed. I try to fight my exhaustion but the bed was so inviting.

I got from the bed and ‘trying’ to get ready. Then I noticed something odd. Very odd.

The display case where she places her rings…. there was a new piece added to her collection. It was from Cartier’s latest fall collection. I don’t remember having that amount charged into my card. And her perfume collection….I don’t recalled her having ‘that’ many bottles on the display shelves. If she had purchased it on her own, clearly I will be aware of it because the amount will be charged to my card.

This makes me wonder what have she been doing while I am away at work.
