Contact Groups — Developer Log # 13 — Giig Hire — 28th June

With this latest update, we bring a long-awaited feature to our Gmail users as well as the introduction of Contact Groups. This has been a quicker sprint that previous updates however the value of these two new features and updates will help us to continue pushing the limits of what Giig is possible of doing.

New Features

• Gmail Integration — After months of waiting and hard work, we have now been verified to use the Gmail API for sending and receiving email. This will allow any users with a Gmail address; or those who utilise GSuite, to connect their email to Giig and utilise all of our email features.
• Contact Groups — Automatically curate lists of contacts based on a search query you set. These then automatically search for new contacts that match the criteria and add them in to the contact group.

New Addition

• New Menu Structure — To fit in with our growing platform functionality we have introduced a new menu structure.
• Responsive — We have had a complete overhaul of the platforms experience on mobile and now the majority of the platforms features are now avaliable at your fingers tips.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where job responsibilities were unable to be added to a job
• Fixed an issue where job boards for custom domains was not displaying a job correctly.
• Fixed a bug where an email button was displaying a broken candidate card instead of the email window.
