War Crime in Dobropillya: Russian FAB-500 Bomb Targets Civilian Shopping Center

An horrific attack has struck Dobropillya, Ukraine, today, July 16, 2025, at 6:20 PM. A Russian aerial bomb, specifically a FAB-500, directly hit the Aurora shopping center in the city center.

The video shows the devastating aftermath: thick smoke billowing from destroyed buildings, flames engulfing vehicles, and debris scattered across the streets. The second floor of the shopping center completely collapsed onto the first.

Rescue and search operations are currently underway. So far, 75 objects have been damaged, including 54 retail pavilions, 13 apartment buildings, and 8 vehicles. Tragically, 30 people have been reported injured, and two fatalities have been confirmed.

Emergency services, including the State Emergency Service (DSNS) and the National Police, are working tirelessly at the scene. Eight investigative and operational groups from the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine are on site.

A criminal proceeding has been initiated under Article 438, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, pertaining to violations of the laws and customs of war. The process of identifying all victims is ongoing.
